Bees, I need your help me with 2 things phrasing our invitation cards. I am not a native English speaker but our invitations will be in English
1) My husband and I want to invite our guest, not our parents, so I am looking for a good phrase to do that something like “X and Y together with their families are inviting you to…”, we do not want the whole” Mr and Mrs, the parents of..”
2) In a very polite way, we would like to make it clear to the guests about the number of chairs we are reserving for them, something like, “We have reserved XY chairs for you…”
