@kitzy: So you don't think it sounds like they've been together since preschool?
I feel like I need an outsiders opinion because there will be like 70 people invited to this shower, and a lot of them don't really know her or him. I just want to be sure it makes full sense!!
could you give a little bit more bak story to how they met/reunited....might help a little...
They met back in preschool many years ago
when boys and girls were not friend but foe
Who would have guessed that later in life
he would find her again and make her his wife
She met him in pre-school, and thought he was great
They fell in love, got engaged and have now set the date!
So, a school-themed shower seems just about right
We hope you will come to help make her day bright!
@mwitter80: @Yankee Fan Bride: those are both really cute!!!

I'm hoping someone here can help me write a short little poem to go on my SIL's bridal shower invite. Backstory: We're throwing her a school-themed shower because she and her FI went to preschool together and that is also where he proposed to her.
The invitations are these http://www.etsy.com/listing/56619044/semi-custom-cute-save-the-date-teacher , but I want to be sure that those invited know why we're having a school-themed shower (otherwise it just seems random and not everyone knows her well).
I was thinking of writing a short rhyme on the chalkboard, but all I can come up with is "She met him in preschool and thought he was fun, so now down the aisle they will soon run!"
It's totally cheesy, but it's all I got! Plus, to me it sounds like they've been together since preschool, which is not the case at all.
Anyone willing to make a go at it? Thanks!!!
