Hello all,
I am looking for some help and ideas for my reception lighting. Our reception will be in a large loft-like space - brick walls, very tall vaulted ceilings with steel beams. I am looking for a lighting idea (preferably a chandelier if I can find something) to go over the dance floor that has a modern look, is quite large, and relatively inexpensive (less than $2000 if possible).
I fell in LOVE with the chandelier pictured (below), but turns out it was a DIY project by the lighting designer of the wedding, and the wedding was in CA - so that won't work. (I'm in Savannah.)
I've looked at buying something on sites like Ikea, CB2, West Elm, Pottery Barn, etc., and I've done some looking on Ebay and Etsy. But I haven't found much yet... I've tried to search for rentals as well, but haven't had much luck.
Btw, for the rest of the room, we are doing 50-60 single hanging bulb fixtures, using old-school Edison style filament bulbs. So we're going for a sort of modern sophisticated look. (Like a NYC restaurant or something...)
Any creative ideas, or ideas on where else to look??
THANK YOU!!!
