My girls are wearing this dress form Speigel. It is called Bronze, but is brown silk chiffon with silver threading all throughout.
My wedding color was going to be purple with pewter accents, but I kind of want to add a pop of another color in the flowers. It’s a May 28 wedding, the venue is gold/maroon and it’s an evening glamorous wedding in the city.
Do you think I should mix in some berry colors to tie in the hall? Or should I go with a peacock blue for a cooler feel??? Do I have to match the hall?

I always like peacock! Plus, in my head anyway, blue is more summery than berry!

You don’t have to match the hall but make sure your colours don’t clash with the hall!

Well I think purple won’t be too bad… it’s close to maroon so at night it won’t be terrible. I just need that extra color to brighten up things a little I think. A shade of green?? The chairs are green (and I can’t afford 200 covers)

I agree with Future Mrs. Martin – you don’t have to match the hall, but you need to make sure not to clash with the hall.
A pop of peacock would look really classy and elegant, I’m thinking…

Thanks, I added a poll of ones I’m leaning toward…the brown in the dresses isn’t apparant. They catch the light and look like liquid metal in real life, so they will reflect the purple flowers!

i think shades of green would look great. i love the look of a an all green bouquet. personally i think the purple or berry maybe too much with the other people you have going on and with the maroon.
