Weddingbee boards

Hi ladies --

I really need your help on this one. My Mom is having a terrible time finding a dress that she likes. We've already looked at Lord & Taylor, Macy's, Nordstrom, and any other dept store around us -- AND David's Bridal and even a couple Alfred Angelo plus size bridesmaid gowns.

Here's the Stats: 
- She's 70
- She's a size 22W (that's a 3X)
- She doesn't want to wear black
- She prefers that it's long
- Suits & separates are OK 
- She wants to be age appropriate but doesn't want to look like a frumpy grandma
- The wedding is Sept 5 so anything that takes 3 months to order is out
- Preferably reasonably priced (Under $800-900)

Are there any online stores or other places you know of that we wouldn't think of? I was recently a 14-16 myself but most of the stores I shopped at are "too young" she says. We've checked out a bunch of other places in our area since it's prom season but all the styles are mostly appropriate for teenagers.

HELP! Any suggestions?

This is her backup... but she HATES it. I don't want her to be in something she despises. I want her to feel good about what she's wearing & how she looks.

@ zippylef - that's almost exactly what my mother's looking for (only not strapless). Running to check out these sites now & I'll pass it on to my Mom.
