My Fincee wants to wear an all white tux with a green vest and tie…Problem is the groomsmen are going to wear brown tux with green vest and tie. My dress is all white and I wanted him to wear a brown or black tux with a white vest and tie to kinda match me.
What do I do?

I unfortunatly am going to side with your guy on this one. The guys get to choose so few things when it comes to planning the wedding I think that if he really feels strongly about this you should go with the flow. Also many grooms wear a different tux than the rest of the wedding party to make them stand out in pictures and stuff so I really don’t think that it will look strange for you both to be in white. Not to mention if that is what he is excited about and comfortable in then he will be less likely to be stressed or unhappy on your wedding day.

I agree with @YellowBee. My fiance has been completely supportive of practically all my wedding ideas. This was one thing where I said he absolutely had complete control. I trust him not to wear a crazy orange suit or something. In all seriousness, though, he deserves to feel handsome and comfortable on his wedding day. i say you let this one go and support him.

Find some pictures of guys in white tuxes and see if that is what he wants. Frankly, I think it looks rather 80’s, but if that is what he wants, then I think you have to let him…

@KoiKove: I’m with you. There are very few men who can carry off a white tux.

I would try and sit down with your man and explain to him how you want to be the only one at the wedding wearing white and how its important to you. Then I would ask him if there was something else that he would like at the wedding. You could compromise by giving him something else he really wanted. For example maybe he would like to rent a fancy car to drive in throughout the day.

I like the idea of the white tux for your FI. My groomsmen are going to be in brown (I believe) and my FI will be in Ivory (which will match my dress). So I say let your FI win this one.
