Hi Bees! I can’t believe i’m only 8 days away from my wedding! I can’t believe it! I’ve been so busy planning all the details for the wedding that I completely forgot to think about what I should get for breakfast/snacks/lunch for the bridal party while we’re getting ready! I’m thinking breakfast will be easy, I will run out early and buy bagels and fruit for everyone (meeting time at hotel is 10am), we will have coffee, mimosas, and water. Any suggestions on what I should have for the girls to snack on and for lunch? I have a big bridal party (8 girls) plus MOB, MOG, my aunt, and my step mom may be there as well. If you were a bridesmaid, what kind of snacks/lunch would you want while getting ready?

hazyleyedbeauty: I went to the grocery store and grabbed snacks the day before, and I’m so glad I did! Some things I got were:
mini muffins, bananas, hummus and pita chips, clif bars, crackers, cheese sticks, salami…basically easy to snack on things that weren’t messy/sticky. My nerves were going crazy and it was so hard to eat, but I tried to have a few bites now. Also, have lots of bottled water on hand!

lollygagon: Those are great ideas! I like that it’s nothing very heavy either! Thank you for sharing! 🙂

I am ordering box lunches for DD’s wedding party from Panera. We will all be at the hotel that morning so breakfast is included.

I ordered a couple platters of subway sandwiches and cookies and I was so glad I did! They were devoured! You can place an order in advance so all you have to do is pick it up.

Nothing makes a bridal party go sour faster than being hangry, so good on you! I would recommend grabbing everything the day before, though, just so you’re not running around like a headless chicken on the day-of. Make sure you have twice as much food as you think you’ll need – getting ready is hungry work! But yeah, non-messy finger foods (cheese, bagels, sandwiches, etc) are the way to go 🙂

We had bagels and fruit for the morning. Then, we bought sub platters, chips, fruit and veggies for snacks and lunch.
Good idea grabbing food for the bridal party! I was in a wedding party where they didn’t think of it and I was starving by dinner!

We did lots of fruits and veggies for ours for breakfast with croissants. You could also grab maybe some cheese and lunch meats so people can make their own sandwhiches. Cheese and crackers are always good. Maybe a salad or wraps? Whatever works, just make sure its easy and have LOTS of water!
Congrats and good luck!!!!
