Please Help! Vintage Lace Wedding Cake – How to???

Try Michaels, they have lots of cake stuff. I have to ask: Have you made a formal cake that big before? That might be really stressful right before your wedding if you haven’t. Just a thought.

9af5:  That sounds like a smart idea, making the parts ahead of time and seeing how it goes. I htought of something, try e-mailing the bakery maybe? This was the link on the site http://lesleascakes.blogspot.ca/ or you could possibly email the blog that featured it? Those are all my ideas lol good luck!

9af5:  No problem at all. They might because you’re doing this as a one time project for your own wedding and not as a competing bakery or something lol

9af5:  Beautiful cake. I decorate cakes on the side for friend’s events and weddings.. .I would seriously advise you to think hard about decorating your own wedding cake but it’s your call! I would not have had time at all to do it in the lead up but you know your schedule the best 🙂   I also find you tube, cake central a great help for tutorials.
