@NatDawn: Maybe give us a few more details to come up with venues.  How many people are you thinking will be there, and what kind of feel are you looking for?  Rustic, heritage, something more urban….  and if you’re having a very big/small wedding that will rule out a lot of places too.

I think you might be the exact type of bride that could use a wedding planner if you can swing it in your budget as your “feet on the ground” if you’re not going to go a more all-inclusive route. 

I found this website quite helpful when were thinking we might have a smaller wedding than we wound up with.  I set it to Vancouver, since that was the closest to Richmond I could get, but something might be close enough to your church.

just an option for all-inclusive is the River Rock Casino. Very central in Richmond. I have never been to a wedding there and have only been inside once. However, maybe the casino is up your alley!
