Ladies – I completeled my bridal attire for our church wedding. I am really happy how everything turned out.
Is This Jewelry Too Much For My Dress and Veil???
We are having an afternoon garden reception at a historic park with Spanish old architecture details. My reception theme is vintage. My church attite works well with our reception venue, but it may be too warm for the Los Angeles weather. I found this dress I love which is light that I would love to wear for the reception. The question is whether the modern dress style match the reception venue. I also feel a bit bummed that I will not be able to wear my church gown all day. What do you think ladies?

I think with some vintage style accessories it would look lovely!

@aliciaspinnet: I think so too. I don’t think that the style is so modern that you can’t make it work at all. I think it’s beautiful and that the flowy-ness of the dress really makes it work for the venue.

I get a kind of an Art Deco vibe with that dress, so I think it would work with the venue and your theme quite well. It’s really beautiful and summery.

@clairebbbear: Yep, I get an art deco feel from the dress too…especially the pleated fan detail on the bodice. It’s lovely and I think will look beautiful with your venue.

Thank you so much, Ladies! I love this dress. My church dress is diamond white (light ivory). Should I get this dress in ivory, white or champagne? I like this jewelry set. It is simpler than my church jewelry. Will this work?

Sorry one more question. Do you think a slit like the photo shown will work?

I think for a reception dress an slit is fine, as long as you are comfortable in it!
