We are doing jars of FI’s homemade spice rub as favors (This is a picture of the jars…we’ll print a label for them). Can you all think of anything clever to put on the label? Thanks!

What’s the flavor of the rub… sweet, spicy, tangy, etc?

Spicy. We’ll have a very hot and milder option, but both will be spicy.

Perhaps you could use “Thanks for spicing up our day!”

“Love is the spice of life.”

OK, how about:
“You helped make our day complete, please enjoy this spicy treat” or
“The perfect blend” with a little picture of you and your new hubby
Hmmm… that’s all I’ve got for now. I’ll keep thinking! 🙂

All I can think of is “spice up your life” the spice girls song LOL!!!!
I like Boston’s “Love is the spice of life”

We were originally going to do this, then had to change our venue and it didn’t “fit” but we were going to make two – one for chicken and one for pork and they were going to say “chicken love rub” and “pork love rub”.

This is an old thread but I’m considering doing something similar for my favors since we both like to cook. I ran across engraved measuring spoons and thought wouldn’t it be cute if you could attach a spoon to a spice rub and say something like “Seasoned with a Measure of Love”?
