I think a mermaid crinoline would really help give it more shape at the bottom.
Thanks for your thoughts and help! They're very much appreciated :)
Do the Crinolines have "tails" in them to make the back come out more?
I've found some cheap ones on ebay here that i can try out to make sure they look ok before spending any more money on a larger one.
I'll have the dress pinched in a bit so this should help give it more of a mermaid/fish tail base... I just don't want it to be too stiff, i like the loose, flowing look as it will only be a low key/backyard wedding :)

hi All, i've recently found my almost perect dress (needs a few adjustments but it's almost there). Now i'm trying to decide if i should wear a crinoline to flick my dress out more at the bottom. The dress will be taken in a bit about mid thigh to give it the mermaid look, and i will be adding silver lace to the back fish tail but i'm unsure what i could use to flush it out at the bottom and give it that real flowly mermaid look.
Look forward to hearing your advice!
