MR. CHRIS IF FOR ANY REASON YOU ARE LOOKING AT WEDDINGBEE GO AWAY NOW!!….PLEASE
FH and I decided we are making our anniversary gifts. yes thats right..making them. 100% homemade. FH already knows exactly what we he’s doing and has it started.
problem is…i have NO IDEA what to make. i know of the traditional gifts but dont really care about that. i just need a really great idea.ive googled for days and cant find a thing. well anything thats not already done or stupid. he loves anything thats “from the heart” or that i put a lot of thought and effort into so no idea is too lame or girly..i want to hear them all.

-create a personalized calendar-You can buy calendar blanks or use a template from a program; add pictures of things or people meaningful to your DH; add in important dates (birthdays and anniversaries of family & friends); and maybe a special note or quote every once in a while. To make them extra special add little treats – a couple dollars taped to a summer date for an ice-cream treat; video & popcorn night, etc.
-start a book of your family history-document your relationship to date and plan to update it yearly. You can scarbook or journal.
-ask friends and family to email you thoughts about your DH-what they appreciate about him, a special memory etc. Print them out, put them in a jar- he gets to open one per day.
-mix up some chocolate body paint and give it to him with a brush attached
Chocolate Body Paints
6 ounces fine-quality bittersweet chocolate (not unsweetened); Chopped well. (set aside in a bowl)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon sugar.
In a small saucepan bring cream with sugar just to a simmer, stirring until sugar is dissolved, and pour over chocolate. Stir until smooth. (Make sure temperature is warm when applying to body)
Use your imagination to apply to body. Leftovers may be stored in fridge up to 1 week.
-if you have a yard, make a stepping stone
