Sorry if the other pics of the Essense of Austraila pics didn't load. Let me know if they didn't and I'll try to repost them.
Undoubtedly the Marisa. It is way more flattering and interesting and the fabric looks nicer (at least in these photos). The Marisa may have some bling, but it looks pretty typical. If you want to add a little sparkle to your dress, you could always have a little beading added to the bust (thought I don't think that's your best bet), or get a pretty embellished headband, or wear great sparkly jewelry!
I love the Sparkly one! I think that's the Essence dress ?
You might want to give a short description in your poll (ie - plain one, bling one) because the order of the attachments came up in the opposite order as it is listed in your poll. I had to read your post several times to be sure I was voting on the right dress.
@asti: I'm only seeing the first one which looks amazing but I'd really like to see the essence one too!!
I think the second one is better on you, I like the first one but the second I had to stare at its so pretty.
ahhh... i don't know. i love the Marissa (thinking about it myself!). the essence looks great on you though, and this is coming from a girl who doesn't like pickups! i guess... i'd go with the essence? though you could always add a sparkle belt to the marissa!
I love the Marisa but I'm biased because I'm wearing Melissa Sweet Lia :)
Thanks for all the responses ladies. Yes the Essense one is the one with more bling on it. Don't know how to add that to the poll so that people won't get confused. I'm off to the bridal store to try on both of these together. Maybe then I will get a clearer idea of what I like.
So I have decided to go with the Marisa and add a belt/sash with swarovski crystals. It will sit at my natural waist and just gives the gown the little added sparkle that I think was missing. I was able to purchase the Marisa as a sample for only $800 which was such a deal considering new it would have been $2000! Thanks for all your comments and suggestions. Now it is time for alterations and a bustle. I'm thinking a french bustle would be the way to go
@asti: Yay congratulations on making a decision. Don't you feel better for it? :) And it sounds like you got a bargain

Hey Bees! I'm new here and I'm having trouble with deciding on a wedding dress. I have been following the boards for a while and know you ladies are great with the advice. Anyway I'm torn between two dresses. Both are within my budget and similar cuts. I'll just cust to the chase and post pics, but first I'll explain them.
The first is the ever so popular Marisa 726 which is a knockoff of Melissa Sweet's Lia. I loved this dress from the first time I saw it online, tracked down what it was called and I felt great in it. No pic of me in it, but many of you probably know what it looks like. Here is an online pic of the front and back.
The second is Essense of Australia D1129. This I also loved on and it felt great on. I feel like it has the bling or that extra something that the Marisa is missing. These are the pics of me in the dress.
