We have children named: Braxton, Bryce, and Brooke. As much as I regret the B theme, that can’t be changed. We are having a boy. We really like Blaise. We loved Blaze until we learned it was slang for smoking pot (ugh). I’ve heard some girls are being named Blaise too, which I find rather frustrating.
We are also considering Blaine or Benjamin, but they sound a bit more plain and common.
Please give me honest feedback!
We love Blake, but can’t use that name.

In all honesty… I really don’t like Blaise. Even though it’s spelled different than Blaze…it still sounds the same and I’m not crazy about it regardless of how it’s spelled.
I do like Benjamin, is it plain? Maybe but I think it’s a good strong classic name.
Any other B names you like/dislike?
Sucks you can’t use Blake I really like that. What about Braydon/Bradan? Different yet not too different.

I know a Blaise…and that is all I am going to say about it …lol.
I like Ben and Beau (Bo)!

@Heidibrooke: Why can’t you use Blake?
If I saw Blaise, I would immediately think it meant “nonchalant”.
Braeden, Brendan, Branson…I love Celtic names.

@Heidibrooke: Barry, just because there is one opposite me. Barney. I like that one. Baldric….sorry, now I’m just being silly.

Go with Benjamin. If I met someone named “Blaise” I would totally think his parents were hippies or potheads.

I adore Blaise. I often wondered why more people don’t use it. I mean, Jasenism aside, Blaise Pascal was all kinds of awesome.

Not a fan of Blaise or Benjamin. I acutally like Blake. You haven’t tried any other names?

I like Blaise, but if you’re concerned about Blaze, I think that’s still too similar. I also think Benjamin is a little too traditional in comparison to your other children’s names. Blaine is ok, but not my favorite really :/. What about..
Brockton (too close to Braxton &/or Brooke maybe?)
Bennett (similar-ish to Benjamin)

I’m having a hard time with names myself so I hate to tell you I don’t like it when you’ve found a name you like, but I don’t.
If you like Benjamin but want something a bit different what about Bennett?

I see a PP beat me to it. I was going to suggest Bennett instead of Benjamin.
Edited to add, what about Beckett? I really like that name right now. I would use the nickname Beck.

Not a huge fan of any of your names except Benjamin. Some B names I like are: Brandon, Burke, Brian, Brody…
