It's a beautiful dress! But it might be a little overwhelming to your frame. Can you try it on somewhere and see how it fits you?
I'm about the same height as you and I also think it might be a bit overwhelming for your frame... can we see a pic of the dress you already bought?
I think that dress would be pretty difficult to have altered up, which you will probably have to do. I'm your height as well and I think it would take away from the skirt having it altered up.
It's great to hear from other petite brides!!!
Here is a picture of the dress that I already bought...with and without the off-the-shoulder straps. I originally picked this dress because it wasn't overwhelming on my small frame, but I'm really wanting the WOW factor that I'm not sure this dress offers.

I actually LOVE your original dress(with the off the shoulder straps), it's so timeless. The Maggie dress is pretty but I feel the skirt style will go out of fashion more quickly - your current dress will look better in pictures longer.

Maybe I'm just having one of those freak out moments about my dress!!! I'm usually very decisive, but I've been second guessing myself a lot about my dress. I appreciate your support!

Hi,
That type of skirt doesnt help us(Im 5'0) I tried the Brielle which let me tell you I loved it. But the skirt made me look shorter. And unfortunetly Maggie Sottero doesnt customize the dresses to the brides 
I wanted that dress so badly only if they could do the dress without the pickup skirt. No luck.

Hi!! I already bought my dress, BUT...
I was looking at dresses online and fell in LOVE with the Maggie Sottero - Jocelyn Gown! I was wondering if anyone is wearing this dress and/or is selling it??
Do you think that the pick up skirt would be overwhelming on me because I am very petite (5'1")?
