I am guessing it is really hot in Mississippi (assuming you are getting married there) in the summer? If that is the case maybe late September or October is a better option. Again this is me assuming it is hot where you are in the summer, maybe even into the fall too.

@Future_MrsBee:  I think that really depends on where you are (Mississippi?) having the wedding and whether or not you want it indoors or outdoors. Personally, I would not like to attend an outdoor wedding in the summer in the South. I would sweat wayyyy too much! But then again, if you’re a huge football fan and your guests are fans, you would want to be careful about scheduling a wedding in the fall on a gameday!

Picking a venue and a date are the two most difficult steps in wedding planning (IMO)! I just went through the same thing myself.

If you do indoors on both ends, I would say go with whichever month you’d like. I’m in FL, and have been to indoor weddings year round.

If it’s outdoors, I would go closer to the fall, or very late winter/early spring.

Ours is outdoor, and we’re going to book in late February.
