Thoughts, prayers, and many {{{hug}}}s for Bellenga's grandma, Bellenga, and everyone else involved.

*Thank you all so much..I am home right now doing some packing and getting the house cleaned up in case we need to leave in the morning. T is actually out of town and is not terribly far (within 2 hours) of where she's at in Alabama.  If there's an emergency tonight, he'll be driving over there asap before I can get there.

They're still not sure about the stroke..she can't swallow or eat, is alert somewhat though and can move her hands and legs.  She does have a really bad case of pneumonia.  The cat scan on her brain was actually inconclusive..but they did see her old stroke on it.  There was a comment made and I'm unsure about it..my bil (a doc) spoke to her doc and the doc said he didn't see a brain bleed and usually a new stroke accompanies one? 

I'm just tired and exhausted from basically crying.   if we need to head out in the am tomorrow we will do it.  My coworkers know so it's ok if I am off of work.  She's not well at all and so far, the initial outlook is not good.  They said if she survives this weekend, she will not be returning home but to a rehab facility (which is what she doesn't want.)  My grandpa is really really upset.  My sis and bil are there with her too.  I know we'll be travelling back to alabama really soon though. 

Well she is somewhat more stable right now..but it is for sure she had a stroke..it's apparent now.  She is going to be discharged to a nursing home on monday.  My grandfather is taking things really hard. Just got off the phone w/him.

I'm going home next weekend.  Luckily, somehow she is going to the BEST nursing home/asst living in the area (thank you hospice nurses and her doc), and it's somewhere we couldn't get her in before.

If she gets worse again, I'll go home at any time.  I've got flowers sent to her too.  She can't eat really and is still having a terrible time.  The prognosis isn't good..but we alrewdy know that.

Thank you so much for all the love and prayers.  Please pray for her and my grandfather. 

I feel that the good thoughts and prayers and the help from the docs and rn's have helped her get into this wonderful facility.
