I have loved being pregnant.  Really!  It's just been wonderful and I have felt so good the whole time...until today.  Today I finally reached my boiling point.  BH contractions ALL DAY.  I can't walk, I can't sew, I can't do chores, I can't even watch TV.  I want Birth Day to come.  Please God let her be born SOON.  I am so over it!

Here here.  I completely relate MS, 100%... Currently we're at 9 min apart, but I don't think we're doing BH anymore :)

Fingers crossed for both of us!

Mighty Sapphire, Are you REALLY sure those are BH???  If you can't do anything it sounds like it is the REAL thing!!!  Maybe you should be getting to the hospital!!!

Mrs. DG  I think you want to be getting to the hospital soon too!!

Congratulations to the both of you ladies on your coming attractions!!! ;)  Best Wishes for you both and your babies!!!

Thanks rlsulli- we're checking our packing list right now and trying to figure out when to go in.  We're going with the 5-1-1 rule-  contractions  5 minutes apart, lasting 1 min for 1 hour... So a little ways to go yet :)

The last thing I want to do is go early and end up getting pitocin!

It's a pity you 2 ladies are both having girls, if one of you were having a boy then you could betrothe your children to each other! (although technically you could still betrothe them, the chances of them both being gay are slim, but for the sake of political correctness you still could if you wanted too. lol)

My mum's friend had a boy 2 days before I was born, so they decided that their children would marry each other. Did not happen, but it was sweet anyway.

Mighty and Mrs DG, I know exactly how you feel!  I'm only 1 day past my due date but I'm so ready for it to be over.  With no sign of real contractions and no indication this baby is coming any time soon, this pregnancy feels like it may never end!

Oooh, trilby hang in there!  We went for a huge hike on Saturday then a short walk... Then on Sunday we went for 2 smaller walks.  I think it really helped!  Still really variable, but headed in the right direction.

Hopefully Mighty is on the right track too.  I always said that her baby would come before ours :)

Good luck ladies! Mrs DG you are too funny! You're having contractions and packing but still on WB! Tongue out

Mighty - Have you tried the spicy food, long walk, and a bit of nookie route? I've heard great results!

I can hardly wait to see photos of the little WB babies!

Bakerella- you know I'm a WB addict and it's a good distraction until we make it to 5-1-1.  At the rate I'm going it might take a little while.

Good luck all you soon to bee mommies!

My husband was a baby flower child, his extended family lives overseas and a few came over to the US to welcome him being born but he would not come out!  So after many delayed flights they put his mom to work gardening thinking that would stir him enough to be born.  After she spent a couple days planting a nice sized garden he finally decided to be born, apparently he just wanted flowers for his birthday.

Mrs. DG - Yup, definitely just trying to hang in there and be patient!  I'm also trying to walk as much as possible but it's tough because I'm still working so that alone is exhausting.  Oy, I'm so ready for this baby to come already!

@bakerella - Yeah, unfortunately still working.  I'm going to work up until the day the baby shows up.  It seemed like a good idea when I made that decision but now I'm regretting it a little because it really is exhausting!

We just went to the garden shop to pick up some moss and rooting hormone.  We're going to try and grow a bonzai tree from one of our Japanese Maples.

Nothing like contracting in the garden shop!

Called the OB, and she said don't be a hero, but wait it out at home a little longer.  I really don't want augmentation, so I'm doing just that... but we're having the doula come over now :)
