I need some ideas on how to wear my hair.. I have 1 that is my favorite but need some back ups.  My hair is a 2-3inches below my shoulder, but my hair dresser is using extensions because I want to to look long, loose curls- but i don't want any hair in my face! So no bangs!

Also, I need ideas on vails, I dont want it to go over my face, but I dont know where to place it or if i even want one. 

My hair dressers amazing- she became a great family friend after going to her for 10 years, and PROMISED me that she would do my hair for my wedding because I can never verbally explain what I want done, yet, she is the ONLY one that does exactly what I have invisioned in my head, but couldn't explain! But over a year ago she moved to Michigan (i live in Florida) and she is keeping her word, and coming down to do my hair for my wedding (and rehearsal), but she is doing all the bridal parties hair (9 BMs) and my mom and MOG hair for free!! Not only that, but for the part of my hair that is going to be hair up, shes gotten me crystal clips ( nothing overboard, 5 small clips that are going to be used instead of small flowers like the pics has in hair) that matches the embellishments in my dress!!

Bad part, trial cannot be done until 1 week before the wedding- however, shes never done anything bad, and we have to communicate via e-mail pictures!

So please, POST AWAY!!!!! Any loose curled, half up-do hair styles that you have of you.. please post... ive seen EVERY example thats on the interenet trust me. lol.

I really like the 1st two hair styles.  And I am considering a tiara, but since my hairdresser got my clips that have crystals in them, i think it will be a tad too much.

Anyone have pics of their hair styles, half up-do w loose curls?? Front and back if you had a veil, please

@jennifer_espos: That looks stunning, do you have any closer up pictures? Or a picture of the back? If so can you please post them.

@wpgkimbee: That looks great on you, I could never pull off the way it looks in the front because I don't have any bangs or short pieces of hair, but the back i LOVE. The clips in the back give it a nice touch, where'd you get them from?  Were they clear crystals, its hard to tell, do you have a picture of the clips u used in the back? If you do, can you post a picture of them?

@jennifer_espos: thats okay! I can't tell from the pic, but did you wear a veil, if u did, how did you place it? BTW your dress is beutiful and looks like it was made just for you.. it flatters your curves, making it BEYOND BEAUTIFUL (and I cant even see it close up) I can say you couldn't have picked a more perfect dress for you, it was def. the one for you!!

I know of want to mix the following styles and make it my own (my hair dresser already has in mind what I want....0 TRY TO picture it...

I like this, but NO hair in the face, NO FUZZIES and not a fan of the "poof" on the top of head.  Like the clip that leads to the half updo and size of loose curls.

Below is my FAVORITE, but again, no bangs and substitute the flowers for the crystal flower clips my hair dresser got me0 and have loose curls bigger (like the curls in one above)

Below, I like how the hair pieces are twisted and criss-cross over created a pretty look, but I would want to tone it down a big and have that hair leading to the part that is in the updo, and the rest of my hair down with loose curls...i do not want a complete updo.  Or, she is also doing my hair for the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner.. should I do my hair like this for that instead or is it to fancy and can be pulled off elegently with a half up-do?

@WeddingBells33: Hey, sorry I do not remember where I got it from, but trust me if there were any more picture angles of that hair style, I found have for sure save them, but, thats the ONLY one I have of that style.

For girls who like half up dos, unique braids, and loose curls, here's my inspiration picture I used for my hair style for my brother wedding... its only the back angle but it so pretty, unfortunanetly, the hair stylist that did the replication/trial for my brother wedding did a SLOPPY JOB. Shes 1 of the hair dresses that does the best  up-dos/half up-do, my hair dresses had already moved(I took picture to show the ladies that were doing hair for the wedding how it should look). If she had done it would have been amazing, the worst part was that I did all of that for nothing, I didn't want the hair stylists at the wedding to see the pics of what she did! Take a look and tell me if your agree!

inspiration picture: although it looks like a 4 piece braid to one side, the caption under the picture said it was 3 french friends that intertwined to make a 9 piece braid!! Below this pic are my trials (the girl that did it wasn't my reg hair styler since she moved and didn't do a great job, she finished in less than 20mins!

Beginning the 3rd braid..

thought it was going to start looking better once she had all three brides and begun to do the 9 strand braid..but didn't turn out that way. And this angle light makes my hair look bronze/brown.

All 9 strands interlocking from the 3 braids and connecting as 1. Loose curls were added from where the braid stopped to the end of my hair

The full back, but it had been a good 5 hours, and I had played with it,pulled out a lot of bobby pins that were annoying me, and some just fell out from her poorly putting them in.  I tried to put them back in and made it worse.

@SHESCOUNTRY: was wearing the veil and having it half up uncomfortable or too much? how long was the veil??

I had mine half up with loose curls (but i had side bangs) We kinda stuck the veil in between the up part and the loose part, it was on a comb.

@Chartreuse: love the band you are wearing in your hair and your hair style and location of the veil!!! where did you get the hair band?? I'm thinking of doing a combo like that.. using a simple veil.  How long was yours??

@Splatt11x  Thanks! I actually got the head band and the veil(and my dress too) at GroupUSA at Dolphin Mall, Miami.  (Looks like ur in Ft. Lauderdale!) I think it might be called fingertip length?? but it ended up being a bit longer than my fingertips because I didn't have it on the top of my head but rather at the back. I'm attaching another pic so u can see the length.
