All of the tables had the white table cloth, navy blue runner, pearl garland, and champagne napkins but where it differed was the candles and center pieces. Half of the tables had 3 milk bud vases and 3 round candles whereas the other tables had tall centerpieces that were illuminated and 3 more flat candles. It was nice alternating heights. We also used the tall centerpieces in our ceremomy area.

These were 20 bucks each in 2009.  Nothing fancy or impressive.

@ceebree:  If you don’t mind, how much were your centerpieces? I want to save by going simple like that! They look lovely! I might go for the mirror too like you have, just to add some dimensionality.

@nawella:  Since you asked, I’m going to explain just how cheap they were–almost free!  The center flowers are actually my BM’s bouquets.  They were set correctly on the tables during the getting-ready time, my BM’s grabbed one off the table, and then put them back after the ceremony.  Then they could take them after the reception was over.  The vase, marbles in the vase, and the mirror were all free.  My venue had a ton of supplies in the cellar and they let me use anything I wanted!

Here’s closer up to the bouquets.  I made them myself.  I love the idea of faux flowers because they are cheap, I got to make them myself ahead of time, and they are a great keepsake!
