OMG, I'm so sorry for your friend. And for you. That's a loss no one should ever have to experience. I will pray for their family. I'm so so so sorry. Please keep us posted, I hope the others are ok. :(
They have just announced a family member as a person of interest. I am assuming her father. This makes me sick.

That is so horrible.. I am truly sorry for her loss :( I can't believe the state of the world, and how people can do the things they do. It makes me sick.

Thats absolutely tragic. I have a friend that lives in Lebanon and she was telling me about this. Absolutely heartbreaking. We will keep them all in our prayers

She moved there a few years ago with her husband. Her daughter was Miss Merry Christmas this year lol

@shannon, I was in the Miss Merry Christmas pageant in high school. I bet her daughter won the Little Miss Merry Christmas pageant :)
well shows how much i know =) yes she was the little one, since she is only in pre-school.

Thank you for all of your kind words. I will keep you updated as things progress. My mom said the rumor now is that her little brother found the bodies this morning.
The sheriff released a statement saying the crime scene was very bizarre, and violent.

I'm so sorry. I'll be praying for your friend, her family, and your town tonight... and for you. Take care of yourself, @Lindsay - these things are devastating for *everyone* who is touched by them. It's ok for you to not be ok right now. Ice cream or hot chocolate might be a good call.

I wanted to keep you updated - Last night the body of her father was found in a quarry in Lebanon. It hasn't been determined yet if he is another victim, or the suspect. He was/is still considered a person of interest.
Her little brother, a 2nd grader, has been found alive. Her mother and 5th grade brother were found beaten and stabbed in seperate bedrooms of the house, and her other brother was unaware of anything. Apparently someone came over and rang the doorbell, and he answered the door, and stumbled upon the bodies while searching for his mom. He is in police protective custody.
Please continue to pray for them. I am still heartbroken for them, and had a good cry last night. Thanks again everyone.

Dear brides,
I am asking you to please say a prayer today. I just found out that a good friend of mine from high school has suffered a tragic loss. This morning her adoptive mother and little brother were found murdered in their home, and her father and another brother are missing. All schools in my hometown are in lockdown.
These were wonderful people. I don't want to speculate on what happened. I pray the father and brother are still alive, and I don't want to think the worst. My friend was recently engaged over Christmas. She lives out of state for school. I spent many nights after cheerleading practice at their home.
Please, please keep them in your thoughts. I am so heartbroken right now.
