@AngTea:  I went to Barnes and Noble and bought this little book called “Bride Ideas.”  I found it to be perfect for me–it had a checklist at the front of things you need to do and when to do them (you write those dates in according to the timeframe it gives, say “3-4 months before wedding date” you could fill in “March 26-April 26”), then it has pages upon pages for all of your planning, photo pasting, etc.  It has space for caterer interviews, baker interviews, rehearsal dinner/reception/ceremony locations, bridal wear, bridal party wear, groom/groomsmen wear, honeymoon planning, vows, registry items, etc. etc.  It also has a little pocket where you can put stuff at the back of the book–I found this handy for receipts, business cards, etc.  I love my book and will keep it as a scrapbook when I all is said and done! 🙂

Martha Stewart has a magazine that has great planning tips and timelines.  I ended up making my own binder and timeline from merging several together.

I bought the Martha Stewart wedding planning keepsake binder…and it sits on my living room floor, never used. The Knot’s checklist and budgeter has everything I really need, and google docs lets me always have my lists with me and shared with my Fiance. I wouldn’t spend the money on a planner if you’re online a lot.
