So my boyfriend has been looking at a ring for me (it has a round cut center stone with a halo and diamonds down the band stopping at the middle) it weighs 1 carat all together but I'm not sure what carat the Center stone is and of course I don't want to go look at it but I want to know what it would look like on my finger. I would love to see pictures of your rings that weigh 1 carat or around that and please include what carat your center stone is. I wear a size 4.5 ring so any size close would help but dont let that stop you from posting a picture!
It's hard to tell without knowing how large the halo diamonds and side diamonds are- for example this setting has .22 c, which would leave your center stone at .78 ....

And there are halos that amount to more than that!

Exactly what you're asking for! My ring size is a 4.5 and my ring has a 1.05 carat, 6 X 8 mm aquamarine! 
Mine's close! Size 5 ring and the total weight is 1.01 carats. (.61 center stone)

Mine is a .97 carat center stone with .5 carats total in side stones.

@Shannyshannn: Would you believe we only paid $325 for it? You have to remember that certain shapes face up a lot larger, like ovals and rounds. I'm getting a cushion for my permanent ring and debating between a 1.1 and a 1.4 because cushions face up smaller.
@musician32992: Whattt thats so awesome. I wish my ring could be that size but it would have to be a lot larger of a carat for a diamond. Thats why I like halos though because it makes the ring appear larger. Cushion is definitely my favorite cut but I want it to have a halo Either way but some look like a cushion from the shape of the halo so im not particular on the center stone being round. But im in love with your aquamarine seriously. Is it your promise ring? Or like a temp engagement ring? Anyway I cant say I love it enough lol. We have very similar taste I would pick the same thing for a permanent just find cushion cuts so pretty. Thanks for the advice btw! Ill have to pass that on to my boyfriend.
Here is my beautiful 1.00 carat. :) size 8.5!! (Which is 1.5 too big haha) getting resized next weekend.

@Shannyshannn: It's my "promise/pre-engagement/I wanted a ring for Christmas" ring, haha. Aquamarine is my birthstone. I'm going mossante for my "real" ring and getting a 1.1 cushion in a Tiffany Legacy setting with a split shank. I wanted my forever ring to be dainty yet not undersized!
Ring size 5. My engagement ring is total weight .875 carat, (.375 center stone). 1 carat total weight with weding band. Although its not the biggest diamond, I love my ring and wouldn't trade it for anything!

It looks small because of my huge man hands....but I absolutely love it.
1 carat. 1/2 carat center, 1/4 side stones. Size 5.5. FI gave this to me before we were "engaged" hence why it's on the wrong hand! :)

i think my ring is very similar to what you're asking about!
the ring is a 1 carat in total with the centre stone being .85 My ring size is 4 1/2. I have s halo surrounding a princess cut diamond. Picture isn't great but hope it helps :) i think the diamond size is perfect for me and wouldn't want it bigger.

My center stone is just over 3/4 carat and the ring's total weight is just over 1 carat on a 6.25 finger
.70 diamond with a .25 pave setting. Almost 1 carat total. :-) size 8 finger
