mine was half up & down. My hairdresser hadn’t put enough spray on to keep it up as much as I’d have liked, one of our guests – a hairdresser offered to tidy it up but I was too busy with things.

I wore it all down. It lasted a few hours. We used all the product and hairspray we possibly could have. The curls do not last. If you’re goingt o have it down, make sure someone has a bit of talent with a curling iron to touch you up throughout the day.

I don’t have a good shot of my hair with my veil… sorry.

I wore my hair all down.  Loved it!  Got so many compliments on my hair that day.  It stayed all day, too.  I’ve seen a few brides updos fall out, so I’m glad I went this route.

I sewed it to a vintage hair comb my MOH gave me (my something old/blue) and just stuck the comb in. It came in and out if I wanted it to, but stayed in if I left it alone. I have pretty thick hair and that day I used a lot of hairspray so I didn’t have any problems.

My hair was actually pinned back a bit, but mostly down. Here are some photos…

I had mine mostly down, with the left side pinned back a little bit with a hair flower.

@Payless:  I posted my pics above, but also wanted to say that although I chose to take my veil out after the ceremony because I didn’t want my veil tugged on during all the hugs, it definitely would have stayed in all night if I wanted it to. My hair dresser told my bridemaids to put it in where ever if felt comfortable & looked nice on me, & then to make an X with bobbypins to attach the veil’s comb in my hair.
