Due to budget my fiance wants me to get an affordable ring, aka ($3,000-6,00). Everywhere I have looked online, everything over 1.60 carat center stone is at least 7,000 dollars! I really would like a at least 2 carat center stone emerald cut diamond but I know we can’t afford it so girls, im wondering if you can show me your 1.00-2.00 carat center stone and see if I would like a smaller center stone! (emerald cut) Thank you! Lora Read more: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/show-me-your-emerald-cut-1-00-2-00-carat-center-stone-diamond-ring-please/#ixzz3IS6xmrEL

My center stone is a 1.2 ct radiant cut. The tcw is 3.2. Size 5.75 finger for reference.

The cost of a good-quality diamond certainly can be startling if you haven’t priced them previously. One challenge you may find with an emerald cut is that you may want to choose an even higher quality stone (because of the step cut) than you would with some other cuts, and you easily could end up spending $10K for your center stone alone (without the cost of the setting) even for a one-carat emerald cut diamond.

1.32 center stone (with .26 carats in the side stones). Like the previous poster said, you will find that you will pay way more than your budget for a good quality center stone. I don’t know exactly how much my ring cost but I know it was over 8k.

My my ring is a 1ct radiant moissanite, I loooove it!! my ring was totally custom. Not sure what FI paid for it but the ring maker was on etsy and his similar rings are around $1500. I get tons of compliments and no one ever questions if it is a diamond.
