I know that you asked for 4mm, but I don’t know how big of a difference 1mm is….mine is a 3mm. I didn’t choose it for comfort. I wanted something a little different than the traditional solitaire band. Mine is a 3mm flat edge cathedral setting. I personally love it. Actually my now husband chose the thickness (3mm). I had given him pictures of ideas & he liked the 3mm.

I had the same idea, wanting a plain and simple band to wear while travelling/gym/gardening, etc. but I went for thinner rather than thicker and got a 1.5mm band. It feels like it’s barely there when it’s on it’s own.

zamorski:  Gorgeous set!

Taiki:  I think it really depends on finger length. My bands are 2.5mm, but together a combined 5mm, and I think it looks nice.  Personally I’d love to have a slightly thicker band, but my fingers are short, so it would look horrendous if I went any larger.

Taiki:  My original wedding band is 5 or 6 mm wide. Here is a picture of it alone, although it’s rather a terrible photo because it looks a bit tight on me. I’ve lost some weight since then, so it’s pretty loose now. I should take a new picture — LOL!

Here’s a slightly better picture of it, but with my ring.

Here’s my engagement ring since I chose a 6 mm band style ring.  When I add the wedding band, it’s 8 mm wide.

Taiki:  lol! no, actually quite short.  It is 4 mm’s at the widest, so the span of the rose petals.  In between the roses, would be slightly less.
