I wouldn’t worry–you’ve had multiple appointments, and your doctor thinks you’re looking good!

But all the best wishes to you and your baby!

I honestly think it’s just too soon to tell. Is 5.5 weeks where you should be based on last period? A sac/yolk and start of fetal pole at 5.5 weeks is on track and the hCG is in the normal range. I would try to (I know, impossible) relax until your u/s. I had low/slow rising hcg but it wasn’t nearly that high at 5.5 weeks (6 weeks it was like 1993?). At 7w2d I was only measuring 5.5 weeks and there was no fetal pole. I miscarried 5 days later. My hCG at that time was in the 7,000s but again, I should’ve been 7w2d by then. I wish for the best outcome for you!!!!

Try to keep calm and trust that everything will be OK. I know that it is easier said than done, but in reality, your numbers look good and the sac is developing as it should. Try to distract yourself until the next week, and for your own sanity, stay away from Google!!!

@MrsYokiman:  I never had my HCG tested but spent the beginning of my pregnancy terrified that it would end in m/c. I had dreams about it, talked about it, stressed about it and then tried to forget about it. We spent weeks 3-6 of our pregnancy out of the country so I didn’t get in with my doctor until 8w6d & it was then when we saw the babe & heard the heart beat that I was able to breathe a sigh of relief.  thought I read that HCG doubles every 48-72 hours so you can still be right on track.

I second the motion to avoid dr.google & to induldge in some great junk tv. I’ve been watching LOTS of NCIS & Law & Order SVU the past couple of weeks, they are on all day & I love them! Find a good marathon of junk tv, snuggle up with your favorite blanket and tell yourself everything is going to be alright!
