If your cycle was due on the 15/16, and today is only the 19th, even if you were like clockwork every single month, I would not be concerned at this time. To be off by a few days is not abnormal. Could you be pregnant and the test not be turning positive yet? Yes. But more than likely you are just a little late this month. Stress and worrying will absolutely alter your monthly cycle. I would not have a doctor run a pregnancy test on you yet.

this happened to me a few months ago, my period is like cockwork and it was a full week late, I probably took 10 pregnancy tests ( all negative) and then my period just showed up. just try to relax and it will either come or it won’t!

Did you confirm ovulation at all…like by charting or using OPK’s?

It’s very possible that you are having an off month and ovulated late. I have super-regular cycles (28-29days) and just a couple cycles ago, mother nature threw me a curve ball and I had a 35 day cycle!

Good luck!

@graygodess20:  Being a little late means you could have ovulated later than usual. If you are only a few days late, I wouldn’t worry. If you can keep getting negative tests, it is likely that you ovulated later than usual. The best way to know without going to the doctor is to chart, really the best way. Good luck!

@candy11:  I agree with this.  Over 4 months of charting, I’ve O’d anywhere between CD 17 and 21– meaning my period could arrive anywhere in a 4-5 day window.  I’d keep waiting (and testing once a day).  If you get up to 10 days late, call your doctor and tell them what’s going on.  Good luck!
