I have been struggling a lot with this weight gain thing. And I mean, struggling A LOT.
I am 20 weeks pregnant and have gained 9-10 pounds. My doctor says I am right on track, but I just can’t believe how big everything else on my body has become…especially my thighs.
I can hardly be intimate with my husband with the light on anymore. Not only do I have this bulging abdomen, but I have cellulite on my thighs and ass and rolls in places I never even knew I could get rolls!
I have a girlfriend who is pregnant and she looks absolutely amazing–I mean her arms stayed thin, her butt looks great, and her face didn’t even change. I look at her and wonder if I am the only one who is going through this.

I gained weight ALL OVER during pregnancy. I wish I had had the “magic gene” that make women more beautiful during pregnancy but I didn’t. My hair was bad, my skin was bad, I gained weight in areas I didn’t know were possible. Good News, I left the hospital in jeans, yup, the jeans I couldn’t fit into since my first month of pregnancy. I was so excited. Don’t worry, there are lots of us out there like you, but you will find that in the end you still have that beautiful baby that makes it all worth while 😉

I gained all over with DS and didn’t just gain all over but I gained ALOT! I joke that with him I was “pregnant from the nose down”
You really are MORE than on target with your weight though! I’ve gained DOUBLE what you’ve gained! Thankfully some of that when to my boobs! But I definitely didn’t need any bigger of a butt *sigh* guess it’s a good thing Darling Husband likes it. lol
Best thing to do is try and wear things that make you feel sexy again and just embrace the bump! Lots of guys find their ladies pretty hott when pregnant! Plus I just saw your bump pic a few days ago.. you look friggin great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a romantic night with the hubby and keep the light on. 😉

I gained everywhere, you could see it most in my butt (awesome), arms and face.

I gained EVERYWHERE too! I gained in my feet, calves, thighs, butt, gut, arms, boobs, and my face, including my nose! I too gained a lot of weight. I had and still have stretch marks everywhere. I gained 54 lbs. with the first child and lost all but 10 lbs. without much effort before I became pregnant with the second child 13 months later. I guess it was mostly water weight. I looked like if you were to stick a pin in me I would burst! Nursing the baby seemed to really help with taking the weight off quickly.

I was doing ok at first with only gaining on my belly, but that has changed in the last few weeks. Now I’m gaining on my butt and my face too. Actually, the only place where I feel like I’m not fattening up in on my tiny little boobs! 🙁

With my last pregnancy, I didn’t know how big my butt got until I realized I had stretch marks all over. But my face, bum, and thighs gained quite a bit and they also instantly went down after baby.
This pregnancy, my arms feel ginormous. I can actually feel the difference in shirts that I wear and how I move my arms. I’ve been walking but slacking on pregnancy yoga so maybe that can help them out a bit :-/
