I was thinking of doing aqua-ish colored drapes in my daughter’s room. Which bedding do you like? She likes all of them and would be happy with anything. I can’t decide LOL. Her walls her a very light pink right now. Her furniture is all white.
#1. I believe this stock photo shows the colors to be a bit darker than what they are in real life but I am not 100% certain of that. I will include other photos I found online:
2: The first two pics are the stock photos and the last pic is what I found in someone’s bedroom.

I’ve seen #2 on many baby items when I used to work at a store. It looks more ”young” to me.They display the comforter with very neutral wall colors, because it’s a lot or patterns and colors. I think #1 allows you to use a few colors as accents and it’s not as busy. I think you’ll have more fun decorating you daughter’s room with comforter 1. 😉

@NauticalDisaster: I agree! The first bedding is really great for the room you are describing without the colors clashing or being “too much”. I think it will look gorgeous with the light pink walls, white furniture, and teal drapes! The way you described it; the first option I think will transition even when she gets a little older instead of having to change everything out for more “mature” looking room.

@hegetsme: Both make me cringe but I never liked a lot of color clash, so take that with a grain of salt. But I’m not going to suggest anything else. Why? Because it’s not my room :). I say if your daughter is old enough to sleep in a bed and you want to buy new sets for it… let her pick. Set a dollar amount go to stores or look at things online. It’s a great lesson not only in “this costs X”, but also “You picked it”. Admittedly I don’t know how old your daughter is so this could be a useless suggestion!
I mean if she’s old enough to decide (only you and your SO know this), I don’t know what she likes, she does! Say “You get this, it’s yours for X time before I buy something else, so think about what you really want.”… cause that’s how the world works when you are an adult. My parents did this to me and I recently trashed a comforter that was literally losing stuffing because the material wore so thin the stuffing was coming out in various places. I’m 37. :). DH had the same thing, only he got his comforter later in life (I was 6-7, he was 17ish and he’s just a few years older than me) and his is nearing end of life.

I voted for #1. Number 2 seems really young girl to me, but then again, I’m not sure how old she is.

I like the first. Number 2 is a little busy for me! It doesn’t seem calming or relaxing for a bed.

Thanks everyone. I really love the combo of the red aqua and pink in the first one.

@hegetsme: Love that first one! So cute.

I love the second one. The black and white stripes ground the whole thing.
