I am going to go with B as well...but I am a flower lover:) Either choice is beautiful!
Why dont you do the first one w/ just 3 of your flowers from your boquet in a diagonal setting, one on each tier, I think the swag will def. be to much.
Better to be more simple and pop color in w/ flowers. The cake feels that way to me.

I'm a fan of B also. I think you could add some fresh flowers, but I wouldn't combine a full cascade of flowers with it.
I vote for B also! I agree with jilian though, you could incorporate some fresh flowers without using the full cascade.
Good luck, either way I'm sure it will look great!
thanks all -- i completely agree. a combo is way too busy. we're using my mom's (and my grandma's) old school cake topper, so i think that swags are probably the way to go, and if we want to add fresh flowers later we can. thanks!!
sounds like you've made a decision. Just wanted to say i prefer the swags. although i love flowers on a cake, i dont particular care for the cascading effect. so i would add simple, single color blooms around the base layer and focus on the swags.
I think that swags and a cascade of flowers would be a little busy. I have seen gorgeous cakes with both swags and flowers between the tiers, or with a lot of decoration and random flower:
Or here's one with swags that go from group of flowers to group of flowers!

i'm meeting with the baker this weekend, and i need your input!
i like swags, like on some of the tiers of this martha cake here: http://s273.photobucket.com/albums/jj222/rebecca4821/?action=view¤t=cakekromer.jpg
FI likes a cascade of flowers, like this cake here: http://weddings.theknot.com/ODB/themes/realweddings/detailview.aspx?id=28209&type=3%2c11&wedding_details=Cake
do you think it's possible to combine both swags (if done delicately) and flowers (if also done delicately), so that it's not a big mess? or should we choose one or the other?
so: a) combination, b) just swags, c) just cascade -- please vote!
