Just thought I would ask what people are doing with their hair?? I have long hair and intending to have it part up and part down but my dress is ‘poofy’ is this a good thing you think? I have no idea how to have it

I am wearing mine all up. I find when i wear mine down, or half up half down, I look younger. I’m trying to pull off a more mature look – mind you i’m 26 so i’m not a baby anymore.

I wore mine up and to the side, if a very soft style. I was worried about half up half down because of heat and/or sweaty head (I have thin hair). I loved how my hair came out!

Im different. I look like butch with all my hair up. To look more soft and feminine I think Im planning on wearing my hair half up, half down. Still want to show my stylist before me in my dress and other pics before I officially decide, but this has been on my mind alittle. 🙂

I’m worried because I LOVE my hair down but it just makes me SO hot. I think I have almost 100% decided to wear it up because of the heat. My dress is already satin and I die when I get hot.
I’ve decided to have it “looser” around my face to kind of give the illusion of it being down. I haven’t found any inspiration pics that have me totally convinced yet! Though I admit I haven’t spent much time looking.

my face looks huge when my hairs up. I’m wearing it down, curled, and then a mantilla overtop of it.

I wore mine up because I get too hot when my hair is down and I am moving around a lot, and because an updo fit well with the look i wanted. besides, Mr. LK loves when I wear my hair up, and I love to make him happy.

I’ll be wearing mine very similar to January Jones’ in this pic. I’m also adding a pretty barrette/comb on one side.

@lovekiss: I just wanted to say you look beautiful in this pic. I love your hair comb!

I don’t love my face with my hair up, but with a bolero my hair down just looks like too much. I’m going to do something similar to @chrispygal: and have it soft and a side bun so that my hair isn’t completely slicked back.

Personally, I like to me consistent in my curves. For me, that means hair long and down, and flared pants and A-line skirts and dresses. I find I look out of balance (head looks to small or something for my body even though I have a big head lol), or my face looks too fat and round if I wear my hair up.

When my hair is all up on the top of my head I look huge and when its down it looks to “everyday” for me so Im going with my hair up/downish, to the side and curly 🙂
I have very thick, long hair (goes down to my mid/lower back)

this was my hair..it originally was planned to do a half up do with both side down,,,we realized with hairdresser that it made me just look more heavy and with the veil and probably drss would look too much…also this style looked more bridal then just let them down like everyday style…turned out good…bad side is that i always had to remind the fotographer to take pic from my right side,.but he never remember that,..and the part whre hair is up i dont love it much,,,its down side of the side swept,,but flattering if full face like me…

I was worried having my hair down would be in my way and I wanted to dance and party down and didn’t want it clinging to my sweaty face! I’ve always preferred shorter hair for myself so I wore it up. I think having my hair up elongates my neck and makes my face look less full. Really depends on your face shape and personal preference!

I normally feel very self conscious with my hair up. Having it long and flowing is like a security blanket for me. I was going to leave it half up and half down with a more traditional side part but it didn’t work well with the veil. So I left it down with a middle part in a more relaxed style. I do feel that my face is fuller and more round and I think the middle part and having it down was really flattering.
