I am a VERY big plus size bride. I am 5’2 1/2 ( need the half inch) and weigh a whooping 295 and I am less then a year till my wedding. My FI and I are starting a diet ( counting calaries and eat health) we are using myfitnesspal App and we really hope it works. I have an appointment to start looking for dress 2nd weekend in October. I am hoping to loss a little from now till then.
My question is there anything to suggest to help me loss weight?
P.s i cant believe I told me weight, guess it the first step lol

@Mrs_PinkHerman: Take short walks 3-5 days a week (20-30 minutes after dinner is a great time for most people)
Other wise you wind up with TONS of loose skin!

I use the myfitnesspal ap and it works great. Just be careful because some of the nutrition info isn’t accurate. Much of it is entered by users and some people enter in low amts…not sure if they are estimating low or what but if it looks too good to be true I.e. 100 calories for a cup of ice cream… its probably off.
Diet is about 80% of it. Follow your calories and you will do awesome! Exercise will do so much more for you too. Agree with the other poster. Just walking a lil is huge not just to help in weightloss but its good for the mind and will help you tone up as you lose. hmm few other tips… get enough sleep, its extremely important. 7hrs minimum, drink lots of water, cut out soda and try to stay away from diet drinks and foods that contain artificial sugars… they just make you crave more sugar. Hmm.. don’t get discouraged along the way. Its okay to have set backs just get back on track as soon as possible.

Water, water, water……walk, walk, walk. Smaller portions except when it comes to fruits/veggies-eat all you can! I am also on MFP, feel free to friend request me at either site (same handle).

@Mrs_PinkHerman: I’m the exact same height as you & weighed in at 265 in May when I decided to join Weight Watchers… lost 15 pounds over 3 months using Weight Watchers, then gained 5 back (255 at that point). For the past two weeks I’ve been doing the Whole 30 Paleo challenge & I’m down to 242 as of this morning. If you want to lose a lot of weight safely & quickly I would definitely look into it 🙂 Reading over the information it sounds harder than it is… I eat a lot of eggs, meats, & veggies and I’ve never once been hungry. I also haven’t worked out at all aside from lifting weights to try to tone my arms up. By the end of the first week I didn’t have any cravings & it has become second nature to eat like this.

I already have my dress so it will need altering. I hope to stay within 2 dress sizes of my dress as then it shouldn’t alter the style.

Ealk walk walk and water water water. You could do whomever swimming too? I think the beginning is always the hardest.
