Probably a dumb question, but is there any way the dress can be altered/let out?

Failing that, I’d let her make the decision; just give her ther options you’ve thought of, say you want her to be comfortable and that you’re cool with whatever she decides. But if a new dress is a possibility, don’t hand about too much; try to come to a decision quickly.

CuppaSarah:  do you have a photo of the dress? it might be easier to think of a solution if we can see what you are working with

have someone check the hem line to see if it can be let down at all…..also try a bust slimmer (like a really good minimizer bra that could hold her girls in a bit better wich could add length…..also take it from a plus sized gal with a larger rack….a good minimizer and a good slimmer, can help make the dress look and feel a little longer (because the fabric isnt as stretched width wise)….and may also make her feel more confident in it and not as worried about showing some leg…..try those before trying to find another dress….

If it’s not too hot where you are, she could wear stockings/tights.

CuppaSarah:  If shes not used to her bust being a larger size….her back will thank you for trying the new bra….trust me….and as a big girl i always wear a slimmer for dresses because i hate feeling like i have a rolls hanging anywhere….its not a problem…..plus a good fitting minimizer bra helps her look a little slimmer in any outfit because when the girls are happy you are happy ya know what i mean…lol…..

I’m also voting for some good undergarments. That can make a world of difference. Bring the dress along and try different things.

CuppaSarah:  I would suggest getting her some good underwear for the dress. Something that will flatter her bust and minimize it, spanx can create more room for the dress to fall lower on her legs. I am a plus size girl myself and have the struggle of big boobies and dresses. I think if it can’t be altered much, this is the next best thing. But to be tactful, ask her if she would like to explore other options or if she’s genuinely ok with things as they are.

ETA: I see someone else already said this lol. but there ya go!
