I am looking for some budget-friendly dresses that are plus size. I cannot find any that I am in love with. I’ve looked at Davids Bridal and Alfred Angelo. Are there any other designers that carry sizes for 22-24? Affordable would be nice too! Anything under a thousand. 🙂

Mine is Jasmine Bridal. I got it at a salon and it ended up being $869 and the veil was $225.

Mine was a Da Vinci; they have quite a few styles in plus size. Try the Unforgettable collection by Bonny Bridal as well

Mori Lee goes to size 30 i believe, and they are gorgeous and well made.

I second the Jasmine Bridal…. they had a sample for me that fit at the salon, and I felt awesome in it. Jasmine Couture T282. I am pushing your budget, though, at $1200. I’m sure there’s plenty of other beautiful styles from that line to choose from, though!

I’ve never heard of the designer of my dress before buying the dress, but have since seen a few advertisements in bridal magazines. It’s callista and they only design for plus size. They have some beautiful dresses. Good luck!

I bought an Ella dress. They go well into plus sizes. I got mine for $850 and it was really beautiful and flattering.
Here’s a link to the designer’s site: http://www.ellabridals.com

My dress is by Bonny. My consultant explained that the designer makes the dresses to fit a woman’s (plus size) body. It fit me like a glove and I got it for $445 dollars off the rack! I think the dress was around $900 full price.

My dress is an Allure. They also go to size 30, I believe. I think they are pretty reasonable depending on the style, etc. There are a number of designers out there that do make beautiful dresses in our sizes–it just takes a bit of research!
Good luck with your search, and have fun with it!

My dress & my plus sized bridesmaids dress were both by Eden Bridal.
My dress was under $1000. I thought their bridesmaids dress was a little over priced, $170.
