Hi Marianne,
So we went to Bryan's Bride and Tiffany Plus today.
Bryan's was alright - up to about a size 20 or 22 - but we waited 30minutes for service, even though we had an appointment!
We walked into Tiffany Plus with no appt and were immediately helped. They had from a 14-30, so I was able to try anything I liked on. Hooray, and thanks for the tip Strawberry!

Hi ladies,
My mum will be in town this weekend, and we've talked about maybe doing some dress shopping while she's here. I've looked at StrawberryBaby's thread about Bridal Row in New West, but I have a slightly different request!
I wear a street size 16, and I'm concerned about actually being able to try on dresses! From the replies in the other thread, it looked like most of the New West stores carry samples in bridal sizes 6-12.. which is way way too small for me! My first dress shopping experience (in Victoria), I only got to try on one dress, which was a generously cut 12.
I'm willing to call stores to ask about their sample sizes, but I'd prefer not to call every store in the phone book! ;)
So, where do you recommend I look?
Thanks!
