@SandyThePoet: This dress is one of my favorites...but don't think it's going to make the cut for me... I want one with a sweetheart neckline. Very pretty though!
These are my top choices right now (some needed in a size smaller for better fit). I will post again when i make my final choice. These are all from davids bridal. Please disregard the goofy face :)

@amf2000: have you got a hoop on under your dress... I have been told (by the last place i was trying on dresses) that it will lift the dress and make it easier to walk in the more hoops the higher the lift... As it is only a little long this could be an option IF you don't want to wear heels... I definitely will be wearing flats as I hate heels with a passion I would go barefoot or in my havaianas if I thought it was appropriate hahaha, so if my dress was only a little long I would try a petticoat first... :)

Its Alfred Angelo Style 2123W. My mom never liked ruffles but fell in love with this dress. I still go in to look at it lol.

My dress was from Amy Kuschel, and if I could, I think I'd wear it every day. I'm a street size 12-14, and I loved how my dress felt like "me" (only better). Now that I'm past the mawwiage stage, I'm selling my dress. PM me if you're interested. It's also listed at POWD

Just said yes to the dress! Sophia Tolli - Lorenza! I was between this and Adorae but loved that this was one different! I am a street size 18 and only 5'3.
Now that we have our pro-pics back, here's my Maggie Sottero Georgina in a 16.
I'm a UK size 22 - and this is what I will be wearing in 3 weeks time..!

Here I am...street size 18/20 in my Mori Lee 1612 (size 22) Got some serious work to do in the next couple months, especially on my arms and back, but I do like the way this dress makes me look.
@miss ranunculus: you look gorgeous in your dress! do you mind if i ask how tall you are? i'd like to try that one on myself, but fear I won't have the height for it.

This is an allure 8919 and i LOVE it. i wish I could wear it all the time. Oh its a size 18, street size 14.
Sorry for the poor cell phone qualities, but I love this dress! I am changing the top to more of a sweetheart neckline...I hope it turns out well!
I found my dress last weekend. Finally!
I was so afraid to not find the right dress anytime soon. But here it is... tadaaaa. I love this one. It's so elegant with the chiffon part at the bossom. (For some reason I always felt a bit naked with all these strapless gowns and I realized that almost 90 % of dresses sold are without straps. So this dress came as a perfect solution to my problem 
)
I'll have them add a small train to the the dress and there's gonna be real satin straps for the lacing (not those shoe straps like they used in the fitting room 
)
Am so happy.
(Now off to buy shoes. Another big obstacle, since my feet are so wide.)
This has made me feel so much better about me and my dress... Took six dress shops and many dresses but I found it! Love it, and today is just 60 days til the big day! Unfortunately don't have a pic of me in it any more but I'll post one once it's delivered into the store... Have to make do with the skinny model! It's a Mark Lesley 2043... LOVE IT!! Xxx
