Hi! I am looking for a good plus size tea length dress and have found a couple of good options but am wondering if anyone has worn one and has photos or maybe any recommendations? I am a street size 16, hourglass shape, and 5’9″. I am just so nervous about going shopping to be shot down….so I feel like I need to prep for some other styles to be open to, just in case. I hope that makes sense! 🙂

I have the first dress Hilarie posted in a 16 and love it. I’m not quite an hourglass (I’m much more busty than hippy) but I think it would look great on an hourglass!

I’m not sure of your budget but the Justin Alexander 8465 looks great on all sizes of women!

Thank you! I am looking at the JA 8465 and possibly going to look for a used dress to buy. I want to do my shopping on the cheap, but I also can be flexible with my budget. Thank you for the response.

I’m going to have to sell my high low dress thats an 18w. I lost too much weight and now they can’t alter it enough. PM if you are interested

Dolly Couture has a lot of tea length dresses. If you go to her facebook page you can see a whole lot of pictures of brides in her dresses as well.

I am a size 12, but my dress is a 16 regular. I’m 4′ 11″. so this needs to be adjusted. This is Oleg Cassini from DB with added straps (at time of purchase).

@mcklough: I LOVED THAT DRESS. I tried it on and died. It was so adorable. It’s a shame it doesn’t get much attention.
