- Wedding: August 2013
So I had the perfect date picked out that would go with my cycle perfectly, and then I realized that the perfect date was actually not perfect for our destination wedding 🙁 I was encouraged by several vendors to switch to early fall instead of mid summer (only an 8 week difference, but still!) Apparently it’s foggy there June/July, and often into August which can make the evening damper & cooler. Sept. is consistantly drier.
The issue is this, now with the selection of dates still available they all fall the weekend just before my period (which normally begins monday or tuesday). Usually I have one minor meltdown the week before my period every month. I also usually go up a size in my hips.
Should I change my date for better weather? Or keep my riskier weather date in favor of my personal state of being?
On the one hand, I much more want them all to be comfortable and happy (crabby family members is MUCH worse that anything PMS can do). On the other hand, there is no way to predict the weather a year away so maybe I’m better off planning to the one consistant thing?
**EDIT: I’m not on birth control… so I can’t just switch days… unless I were to start taking it again? Maybe just for that month?
