…thank goodness it’s over for this month, but seriously, the older I get, the wose it gets. I cry, I’m angry, I get irritable at the drop of a hat, bloated beyond belief, I trust less and worry more. I’m so tired I go to bed before children do….And this goes on for at least 1-2 weeks before my start ! It’s like I only have 2 weeks of normalcy throughout the month ! Not to mention it KILLS my desire for intimacy when I’m feeling all those other emotions and my poor fiance feels the brunt of it. I’m so fortunate he understands.
I have to get myself to a doctor ! If any other bees have felt the same and found a solution please advise, because I am honestly NOT the bitch I act like during PMS !

I think it was vitamin B12 that is supposed to help with PMS? Double check with the doctor to make sure. They may have a better solution. I think avoiding salt helps too.
Thank goodness you have an understanding fiance!! Hormones can really take control of you, and it is great to have someone who understands.

I have similar issues. I’ve always been lucky in that the physical symptoms are few, but my emotional symptoms are very extreme. I spoke with my doctor about it and he recommended taking a very low dose anti-depressant only during PMS. I have been doing this for almost a year now and it’s done wonders for me. I’m much less sad during PMS, as well as much more able to handle things. Talk to your doctor!
