Well that sounds a little worse than it actually is, sort of. I am in need of a little support today/this week. Once a month I ride the emotional roller-coaster that I can’t control and the bad part is I am on BC so it’s better than it used to be! I just wanted to feel like I wasn’t alone and others go through this type of thing also…:( Thanks bees!
For a little humor I added a poll…

Oh yeah. I can’t even take birth control because of other health issues, but I have all kinds of hormone imbalances and PMS throws it wayyyyy off and I just go crazy for a few days.

I might not get completely insaine but one day, about 4-5 days before my period starts, I cry…I mean ball for absolutly no reason! I work in a small warehouse and 8 days ago I was alone upstairs in one section and started to ball my eyes out just because I wasn’t in bed cuddling with Fiance…and didn’t stop for 3 hours LOL

Try taking an Evening Primrose Oil supplement. I swear it helps! I recently read an article about how it helps curb PMS symptoms…and it really does. I’ve always had pretty sever breast tenderness and it doesn’t really help in that area too much, but I’m much more emotionally stable and not nearly as moody!

A few days before my period I start getting a little more emotional and things upset me a lot more than usual. I’m on BCP’s but I think I need to switch because only in the past year has this started.
I tend to cry a little too before my period and poor SO he has no idea how to help. He just gives me a hug and holds me.

Just the past few years it’s gotten really bad. I get super emotional and Fiance tends to get the brunt of my insanity. Luckily he’s patient.

Yep, ‘nother crazy person here. I get so irritable in the days leading up to my period, and it lasts the first day or two. My patience wears super thin, the tiniest things will set me off, and I get all moody and almost like bi-polar. Seriously, one minute I’m up and about and determined and bitchy and all, and the next, I’m a weepy, depressed mess that just wants to eat chocolate and cry alone in a corner.
After my period’s over with, totally back to normal. Our poor SO’s. We should bless them one and all.

Oh, poor J. He’s had to deal with my distance and irritability all weekend. Also with the crying at the drop of a pin. He hugged me last night and I cried. It’s ridiculous.

@Wonderwoman217: Fun fact…the shark brain looks like the human female reproductive organs!

I’m pretty chill most of the time, but the week before my period is brutal. Fiance will joke with me like he normally does, and I will get upset and cry! and then I realize that normally stuff like that wouldn’t bother me and I apologize and tell him it’s PMS’s fault. LOL.
Poor guy, has NO idea how to deal with me when I start crying because of something stupid, like … a video game freezing…

I get REALLY moody and even somewhat emotional! The thing I don’t understand is my PMS has only been like this for maybe less than a year. I haven’t changed birth control brands so I’m not sure why this is.

Shark week…. LOL that is such a good term for it.
I feel awful during PMS. I dont’ get bitchy (I’m never really a mean person to begin with). Just soooo sad and emotional. I have been on the verge of tears at least four times today and I’m only starting to PMS this week. I take midol but that doesn’t help with the emotions. It’s so awful.

OH YES! We were just on holidays and I started PMSing about 4-5 days into the vacation and it’s still going on. I hate PMSing, but I can’t help it!! When I start going crazy, Fiance is like what is WRONG with you?! and I’m like I’m PMSING!!!!! and he’s like ohhh now it all makes sense. hahah
