I'm DIYing my pocketfold invites and I'm not using an inner envelope. I'm going to use a belly band around the pocketfold and stick some cardstock on the band to put the names on.
I am also DIYing mine. I think it is personal choice as to whether or not the inner envelopes are included. I lieu of the envelopes, you could either write the name(s) of the invitees or you could add a belly band and attach a business card size of matching cardstock with their name(s).
That sounds really cute!
The (very popular) company I ordered mine from offered "gift tags" (stickers) to seal your pocket-folds with that you could either personalize with your wedding date or leave blank to write on with a permanent marker (totally would not work with our invites).
I guess I'll just have to write this off as something that's out of my hands and just stop worrying about it...lol!
I didn't use them. I like the twine/tag look with the guests names.

I've received several pocket-fold invites over the past two years or so and they've all had inner envelopes saying "name and guest" or whatnot.
I ordered my own pocket fold invites and the inner envelopes they sent me are too small. I contacted the company and they told me to disregard the inner envelopes that shipped because pocket-fold invites don't need innner envelopes.
I'm kind of freaking out because my venue has limited space so we're only allowing a +1 for spouse/live-in/long-term realationship types. Space-wise, we can't afford for people to assume they are invited with a guest if they are not. Plus, our wedding is 8 weeks from this weekend so we don't exactly have time on our hands to fix this.
Is this the norm with pocket-folds?
Am I smoking crack to assume my pocket-folds should come with inner envelopes? Be honest!
