I finally picked my invitation suite – classic and elegant!
I can do them in the pocketfold as shown – or go a more traditional route with the outer/inner envelope (inner envelope would be lined and the invitation suite would be tied with navy ribbon). The cost is the same.
Our wedding colors are Navy, silver, and white. (Think classic with lace and pearls.) The invitations will be in a deep gray shown (what Fiance liked best).

We did Pocketfold, and personally I prefer them but obviously I’m a bit biased. It think it looks cleaner and give the guests someplace to have everything organized if they remember to bring their invites to the wedding!

PS thos invites are gorgeous!!! So simple and pretty! I love them!

I prefer the pocketfolds because it keeps everything together really nicely.

I voted for the traditional double envelopes because I can never get pocketfold invites to stay up on my fridge. What am I supposed to do with it from when it arrives to the day of the wedding?! Your invitation suite is beautiful, btw.

Both isn’t a choice? 😉 We did pocketfolds with double envelopes. I love the pockets because I hate it when everything falls out of envelopes when you open them. Even if you tie it up cute, you still have to save it until the wedding so you know how to get there, then it falls out in the car. I’m also a sucker for two envelopes, because how often do you get to do that?

I like the inner envelope – the lining will offer your “pop of color” – the inner envelope works fine for keeping thngs organized, AND it provides a way to name your guests (which indicates exactly who is invited.)
My outer envelopes were addressed to adult guests, and I included the names of invited children on the inner envelope. I didn’t find a pocketfold invitation set that allowed for the same ease of indicating all guests. – I didn’t want to write right on the pocketfold.
But in the end, it really comes down to which you like better. Both are pretty options. (I quite like those invitations!)

Thanks for the feedback ladies! Ultimately, I like both and I’m very indecisive on wedding stuff – so hopefully you all can sway me one way or the other.
Kimberly at Daily Sip Studios has been awesome to work with on the invitations. Her designs are amazing and customer service is excellent!
@LittleRiver – I’ve had the same problem getting them to stay on my fridge!
@UmbrellaMoon – I do enjoy inner envelopes as well, although in this case they aren’t neccessary as only adults are invited to the wedding, so no need to indicate children.
@almostmrsj – Ha – technically I gues both is an option, just the more expensive option 😉 There probably isnt’ a need for them to bring the invitation with them, as we’re not including directions or a reception card in the suite (Reception info is actually on the invite, and the insert just lists accomodations and website address.) It’s a 100% destination wedding (not 1 guest is from within 2 hours of Atlanta.)

i like the pocket fold b/c it’s like it’s own little package.

Pocketfold!! I’m biased as well since that’s what I did for my invites!

I like the pocketfold, but like other posters, I am biased because that’s what we used lol.
