The pocket fold should go in an envelope to protect all the stuff inside. we had ones that opened by lifting the top up, and all our stuff would have fallen out if we didnt have envelopes.
Do you have a pictrue you could post?
i've seen pocketfold-like invitations called seal n send. those are designed to be sent without an envelope. click here for an example
You can just send them, but only if they are sealed on all sides... otherwise you risk losing stuff. I'd put them in an envelope to protect them (sort of like inner/outer envelopes). You can get basic, functional, and inexpensive envelopes in all kinds of sizes at office supply stores if you want to do this without impacting your budget too much.
Thanks! That's what I thought, but FI didn't think so. I'm gonna work on an outer evelope if we can't find one that fits our pocketfold :)

wow. your invites are amazing! You could probably actually seal those and send them!

Hi Hive! My FI spent all of last night designing our invites (we're gonna work on our STDs today). As you all know, it's a mighty project, and we just want to get it out of the way!
Now, I have a question for you. We're not going with anything too formal, but it's not going to be too informal (because as it turns out, I'm going to wear a dress with a train. Never in my life had I thought I would. Anyway...) I really like pocketfold envelopes, and he spent so long designing his own template for them. They turned out beautiful, and I absolutely love them. They're still preliminary, as we haven't exactly decided on a date yes (HA!), but I now have a question about them.
Do I have to put the the whole thing in another envelope? Or can I just stamp the outside of the pocketfold envelope and send it that way? Does it matter?
