I am doing a DIY photobooth as my guestbook, but once the guestbook messages are done would also love some fun, silly pictures with props. I bought extra polaroid film, and would love to have the guests take home a copy for themselves, but also want copies of the pictures to enjoy. I am not sure if I should allow the guests to just take home the polaroids, or ask for them in a basket so I can scan them and then mail them out after the wedding.

Need help deciding, wedding is in one week and haven't worked out the logistics yet. Any avice or what did other polariod photobooth people do at their wedding?

@SSUAngel32: Photobooths are more for the guests, to bring something home from the event. When you go digital and offer online printing, you get the best of both worlds, a print for the customer and a digital copy for you.

As a guest, i don't think I would have much interest if I couldn't take the picture home.

I feel the opposite as the person above me, I think the point of a photo both is for the married couple to have photos of everyone there. Maybe its the word "photo booth" thats throwing people off... you mean like a background, set up with props, that people pose in front of? I think that would be an awesome way to do a guestbook! They could write on the pic after it comes out! :)

If you mean photobooth like- sit in a little box, close the curtians to take a strip of photos- I do think that the guests would rather take that home.
