I got pregnant from my 5th cycle. I was 30. I didn’t chart or use any OPKs, however I recognized my ovulation from ovulation pain and cervical mucus.

1 try each time.  First on purpose, second was an oops.

I’m older than your range, I was 38 when I got pregnant and 39 when I had my daughter. It took 4 months and I temped and used OPK’s to maximize our efforts 🙂

i was 32 when we started (33 now).  we are on our 13th cycle,  had our first IUI and are waiting the results of the bloodtest.

though, i’m guessing we will still be in TTC status.

All you can do is take good care of yourself. Do you have any pre-existing conditions such as thyroid issues, pcos, endometriosis, etc? If not, that’s great, you should hopefully not have too much trouble. Eat a clean healthy diet, wouldn’t hurt to start taking prenatal vitamins a few months before TTC. It took me 18 months and I had two miscarriages, but I have hypothyroid and crohn’s disease so I wasn’t in the best shape for it. I’m now 34 and 21 weeks pregnant and things are going great. Good luck!!

I’m 32, I went off the pill & conceived a month later, before my first real period.

I’m 31 and got pregnant our first month trying, but that ended in MC at ~6 weeks. This month will be 5 months of trying so far. I do have a clotting disorder though.

Thanks for posting this.  Helpful to see the responses.  We’re going to start trying for #1 just before I turn 33 and I’m kinda nervous about it as well.

I’m 32 (will be 33 in Dec) and still trying after 16 months, although I got pregnant cycle 13 but ended in an MC.

I’m 32 and got pregnant 1st cycle but miscarried. The second time it took 10 months. I’m only 5 weeks, so fingers are still crossed.

I wouldn’t worry about 32-33 unless you already have known issues (PCOS, abnormal cycles, etc).  And if you suspect issues, I’d probably chart so you can see if you’re ovulating, that way if you need to go to a Dr. about it, you already have all the information.  I was 29 (so just outside of your range) and I got pregnant the first month.  My mother got pregnant with me at 31 the first month she tried and got pregnant with my twin brothers at 34 the second month she tried.
