POLL: ARE THESE GIFTS CHEAP?
Ok BEES– I’m cheap. there, I said it. But I dont want my gifts to appear cheap. I only have a verrrrrry small budget for gifts, and this is what I have come up with SO FAR.
http://www.LNLclothing.com — They have really cute and cheap PAJAMAS!!!
We are talking $7.99 per set. sizes are only Small-Large, and some sets carry XL, but these run small so thats the only downside.. and they are suuuper cute.
I got a set for all my ‘maids…
You know those flasks that guys like to get their groomsmen?
Well, they start at like $30 bucks a pop. I found the samn darn thing at http://www.lightinthebox.com, flasks start at 9.99.
See? same stuff:
and they even have sparkly pink ones:
I may include some other little things from lightinthebox (they have everything!)
Like a nice plastic tumbler with lid and straw, maybe some starbucks gift certificates, and a necklace set for my ladies…
and some mini alcohol things for the guys…
But what do you think, bees?

@Cupcakegurl: I’d love PJs as a bridesmaid. I loung around the house a lot, so comfy clothes are a great gift for me.

@housebee: Mee too.. I have a love of pajamas. Maybe thats why I was so attracted to the idea. If it were me getting it I’d be in heaven.

@Cupcakegurl: LOL I’m shopping on the site now.

I have to wonder about the flasks. I hear of others giving them, but are they really something that gets used? I don’t know anyone who uses them, do you?

Can’t go wrong with loungewear for the ladies! I love useful gifts!!
I’m not sure on the flasks…it’s not something that would work for me, I’m not a drinker, but you know your recipients better than I!

Honestly, im a little on the fence about the whole thing… IMO I feel like its not personal enough.. and do you really want to give your BMs something that they can potentially use before the ceremony to get sloshed??!
But…. I still like the PJ idea….

I’d love pj’s as a gift. It’s something I’d never thought of, but would definitely appreciate getting them.

you should do the pj’s for the girls and flasks for the guys.

Flasks would definatly be used. We are drinkers in our crowd, and I know they would be really appreciated. as for if they use them before the wedding, who cares? everyone in my group is responsible enough to know their alcohol limits, and they know what is appropriate and what is not.
PJ’s arent the only gift , I plan on making a DIY tote bag with some Hand painted Names on them with stencils… and then tossing some other inexpensive goodies in there.. but there was no way I could fill the bag if it werent for these inexpensive finds.
