LK5-15-15:  There are some subtle false lashes out there that may be what you need.  I’m thinking of using Eyelure for my pictures on Monday.  I tested them out, and they didn’t look massively overdone.

I wore them. I would recommend it unless you’ve never done it before. I also had my makeup done for me. They really do add a little bit of glam.

As long as they follow the natural line of your eye – don’t cut them too much at the sides or it just looks false, they should start and finish where your real eyelashes start and finish from corner to corner. There are subtle ones out there like Ceecee says and another plus is you won’t need to bother with eyeliner, although they do recommend you get a liquid eyeliner for the start and end point, to blend it. There is also a special plastic applicator tool that makes it easier to put fix them in place.

It’s not something I do often, probably 5 times, ever.

I say wear them! If you’re worried about it being too much, get the individual fake lashes and just stick a few on the outer corers of your eyes.

I may be biased though, I wear fake lashes all the time in my day to day life (I’m glamourous like that), but adding a few makes your eyes pop while still looking fairly natural.

I wore them but I always wear falsies for special occasions. There are plently that are still natural looking while giving your eyes that extra something.

If you want to. This would be a good test to see if you want them at the wedding. I have kind of long and thick lashes, so I have only worn them on Halloween, haha!

This is probably an unpopular opinion haha, but that’s ok.  I don’t typically wear much makeup (mascara occasionally, eyeliner if I’m feeling real fancy) and asked my photographer if I should wear more extensive makeup for my engagement shoot.  She told me no, and just to be myself. I wore minimal makeup, the pictures turned out beautifully, and I actually look like myself.

So…just do whatever makes you feel comfortable.  If you want to wear the falsies then go for it!  But if not, rest assured that you’ll still look great 🙂
