@mrspinesol:  I know they are very different looks. I love cushion-cut stones and well-done halos, even though I do not have either on my own e-ring.  However, I think I would choose the double halo. I think it has a more cohesive look than the single halo, which I think draws more attention to itself , while the double halo offers an overall look of more bling surrounding the cushion-cut stone.

Personally I have and like the single halos best.  It really just comes down to personal preference.  Go with what you like the most because at the end of the day it is the the ring that will be on your finger for life.

I love the look of a single halo on a cushion cut. I want the stone to be the shining star, not the halo.

I vote single, becasue I think it’s a little more timeless – double-halo seems too trendy to me and something you might regret in 5 or 10 years. Also, the double-halos WITH an eternity band are almost too much bling – think about what style of wedding band you’ll want while you’re designing your e-ring!

People here really don’t like double halos in general, just FYI and your poll will reflect that (but don’t base your decision on what strangers like!). I myself love the soleste and similar double halos when done well. I like single halos as well, but they are so common and the double halo really is unique.

It also depends on your hand. I fell in love with the soleste in pictures but it looks crappy on my hand for some reason, in every size I tried on. I would go try plenty of rings on IRL because what you like in pictures isn’t always what you like on yourself.

@mrspinesol:  you need to try more on then! You will either decide you love the soleste or gravitate towards a single halo.

@mrspinesol:  of course go with what looks good to you, however u can get away with a smaller center stone with the double halo. While now going with a simulant that is less of an issue, when u upgrade to a diamond as youre planning, it will be a definite cost issue. Lovely styles either way.
